This accessibility statement applies to athumi.eu, the official website of Athumi, the Flemish Data Utility Company.
Athumi is committed to making its website and related applications accessible to everyone, in accordance with the Administrative Decree of 7 December 2018 of the Flemish Government, which transposes European Directive 2016/2102.
Compliance status
The website athumi.eu is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1 level AA. Although significant improvements have been made, not all criteria have yet been fully met. Compliance is based on the European standard EN 301 549 version 3.2.1 (2021), which includes the criteria from levels A and AA of the WCAG 2.1 standard.
This statement has been prepared in accordance with Article 7(1) of Directive (EU) 2016/2102 and Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/1523 of 11 October 2018.

- Some images do not yet have correct alternative text
Not all images necessarily contain a correct or complete alternative description. This depends on the content that is added and is being further monitored. - Optimisation of contrast ratios
It cannot be entirely ruled out that certain colour contrasts in some parts of the website do not yet fully meet accessibility requirements. This point will be reviewed again during a future web design update. - Limited remaining translations for screen readers
Most standard interactions and hidden instructions for screen reader users have been translated into Dutch. However, it cannot be completely excluded that some English or non-optimised screen reader texts may still occur in certain places.

This statement and the compliance status above were last reviewed on 14 April 2026. The statement is based on an assessment carried out by a third party, performed by a web accessibility specialist at Inter, the Flemish Expertise Centre for Accessibility. The website was tested against the requirements of European Directive 2016/2102 and WCAG 2.1 level AA.
