The Real Estate Information Platform (REIP) makes validated real estate information readily available and:

• connects real estate sector actors with consumers and administrations
• allows easy data sharing and collaboration
• speeds up processes and make them cheaper
• standardises and simplifies procedures

Real estate transactions require a lot of digital and paper documents. Real Estate Information Platform centralises requests to the various levels of public administration at a one-stop shop, to speed up responses.

Real Estate Information Platform – a well-structured data model

All Real Estate Information Platform products have been built onto a standardised data model under agreed management and governance. The platform retrieves the correct data decentrally from official sources and supplies them to the requestor. The data can be exchanged easily via integrated software (API) or a user application. 

The first product 'Real estate information for transfer' was launched throughout Flanders at the beginning of 2024, and the application has since been made mandatory via the platform. In the future we will expand the platform with other products.
